I love home cooking. There’s just something about eating something that you made yourself that makes the food taste extra delicious. Maybe it’s the money saved or just knowing exactly what’s going into it. Whatever it is, I wish I could do it more. But who has the time to pick up fifteen ingredients and go through 20 steps each day just to have dinner?
We’ve compiled a few quick and easy recipes using our amazing new gourmet food line here at Fully Loaded. Each recipe is unique and hand-crafted by our Executive Chef, Jen Paige. One of the best things about the new food line is that all of the recipes are healthy, delicious, and an easy way to add flavor and excitement to your meals!
One of our new items is also the easiest to factor into your recipes at home. Our Yin Yang Sauce includes cooling feta and a mixture of spicy cayenne and garlic to create an original yin yang balance of flavors that can compliment almost any dish. Here’s a few ideas to upgrade your food at home to a gourmet dish your friends and family will love!
Easy, Gourmet 4-Step Chicken
Delicious, juicy chicken in just four steps!
Chicken is a healthy, low-calorie way to add protein to your diet, but chicken can very easily become dry and bland. The Greek yogurt base and lemon juice in the Yin Yang Sauce act as the perfect tenderizer for chicken. These ingredients gently break down the proteins in chicken and steak, leaving you with a perfectly tender and juicy meal. For chicken, place the chicken and sauce in a sealed bag or container and allow to marinate for about 2 hours.
Once the chicken has marinated and absorbed the flavors of the sauce, you have several options. This marinade works for most methods of cooking, including baking, grilling, and sautéeing. For a quick and easy meal, toss on the grill until cooked through. For a more elegant meal, follow these simple directions:
- Marinade chicken in the Yin Yang Sauce as described above.
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Place the chicken in the oven on a sheet pan and cook for 30 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Broil the top until crispy.
That’s it! Just a couple of steps, two ingredients, and you’ll be able to take your chicken to the next level!.
Spice Up Your Salad
This vegetarian sauce is any easy way to add protein and healthy fat to your veggies!
The Yin Yang Sauce can also be used as a dressing for your next salad or vegetarian side dish. Our personal favorite is slicing fresh cherry tomatoes and cucumbers, then toss in some of the sauce and coat according to your taste. This deceivingly simple recipe makes a vegetarian dish that is low-calorie, high in nutrients, and high in protein and healthy fats, thanks to the greek yogurt and feta cheese. Best of all? It takes less than five minutes to prepare!
The sky is the limit on your creativity!
This Yin Yang Sauce is really so versatile and easy to use! You can also:
- Use it as a spread on your favorite burger
- As a dip for fresh vegetables
- Served alongside a toasted baguette at a party.
The Yin Yang is an equal opportunity as a dip, sauce, marinade, and a spread. So don’t be afraid to come by and test out our new items, experiment, and let your creativity thrive! Don’t let an unfamiliar item intimidate you – you already have a few ideas to get you started! If you try one of these recipes yourself or invent your own, share it with us on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. We’d love to see what you can do!
